We are Torq Routesetting Ltd - a routesetting company based in Dundee with a small team of experienced, professional routesetters. Our routesetters have over 20 years of commercial and freelance routesetting experience from assistant in-house to head setter roles along with the planning of, running and setting for various competitions in a large variety of climbing walls across Scotland.
We offer routesetting for lead climbing, top-rope and bouldering, with a flexible setting schedule. We are able to provide one-off or regular whole wall resets including hold washing. This can also be done on a regular setting cycle – such as setting multiple roped lines and/or boulders at your wall for a/few days every month so you will have regular turnover of your routes and boulders. We also offer competition packages where we will plan, set and assist in the running of competitions at your wall for a one-off cost – this will be specialised to your wall, customer base and type of competition i.e., a league or one off event. We are also here to help with hold orders/advice, specialised to your customer base or wall use.
We are a professional service, meaning we are fully trained, fully qualified and fully insured. We take pride in the service we offer and are constantly striving to improve our skill set in regard to quality, efficiency and safety.
We are climbers at heart, meaning of course we want to share our passion and excitement for the sport with the larger community through our professional work.
